BEHIND THE LENS
Hi, I am the founder of Artsen Photography,
25 years ago my passion for photography was born when I bought my first camera, a Pentax P30. Since then photography has been a big part of my life. I followed a few photography courses and learned to process and develop B&W film and the fine art of printing pictures and posters in the Darkroom.
In 2005 I bought my first digital camera, the 350D from Canon. This was a whole other dimension of photography, to be able to see the results immediately. This gave me a different view on photography and the work flow that came with it. I am very observant and have a keen eye for detail which I use in photography. Making people happy with beautiful photos and beautiful albums gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
Nature is a great gift from God. There is always something great about shooting landscapes that brings me a sense of joy and inner peace.
I am in constant search for those stolen moments.
The kind of moments that can capture the heart through the lens, and are then remembered for the coming years in timeless images.
